I Found My Purpose…
I found my purpose. It was right in front of me for quite some time.
My purpose is to inspire others to dream big, think creatively and make transformative change.
I will continue to do this by curating and connecting networks and communities. I will work with leaders to empower them to be positively disruptive. I will tell stories that will inspire people to be more innovative in their lives and work.
This is the purpose and path I’ve been on my entire career. I may have not known it explicitly…but I felt it implicitly. The drive to challenge the status quo to create change and positive disruption is my norm.
Going into this year, I will have many paths to deliver on my purpose.
I will be at the intersection of a diverse network of innovators, leaders and disruptors. From startups to corporate…tech to creative…established to next gen industries…there will be amazing things to observe and learn this year. I will be sure to blog and post actively across a variety of platforms to capture these moments.
The Disruptor Studio will continue with an exciting second season. I love sharing the stories of these inspirational leaders and I look forward to what is ahead for this series. It is a great opportunity to tell fascinating stories of authentic disruptors.
One of my favorite ways to learn is by coaching and mentoring others. I will continue being an advisor to leaders and companies that are seeking growth and transformation.
Of course, I am thrilled to be in the middle of helping my region be a place where people can dream and make those dreams a reality. It is amazing to be able to leverage the unique attributes of metro Atlanta and help make it a place where innovators thrive.
These amazing moments are providing a tremendous amount of fuel for my book. This is an important year for the evolution of this book focused on innovators and being a positive disruptor. Stay tuned!
You know your purpose is meaningful when you are as excited about the journey as you are about the destination. I lean into this journey…especially the paths unknown…and look forward to the possibilities ahead.
